I like to put a good pinch of dehydrated onions in mine, gives it a really good flavor.

If I don’t have a pastry cutter, what else can I use?

I kicked the flavor of the gravy up a notch by adding a pinch of instant beef "granules" or beef base paste...just a bit...also finely chopped sweet onion or dash of onion power....A small "shake of crushed red pepper flakes(or I put container on the table)
You'd be surprised how this "amps up the flavor.
Also, when in a pinch...I use "Pillsbury FLACKY biscuits...with butter...yum

Made these this morning. Very good. Got the dry ingredients ready the night before for the biscuits did the delay start on the oven to turn on in the morning. Definitely will make again. 5, 8 and 15 year old and husband liked them. Thank you, first time for me to ever have these.
