This bolognese sauce is just absolutely AMAZING. This sauce has so much flavor, believe me your taste buds won't be able to get enough of it!!!! My family loves when I make this recipe and I love that I can freeze half of it and save some for quick week night dinner:) If I'm ever out of a few ingredients, like whole milk or wine...I substitute creamy unsweetened oat milk for regular whole milk and low sodium chicken broth for the wine and it still tastes just as amazing!

Shallot would be a good alternative.

If you don't care for garlic, can you reduce or omit it. Or use shallots as a substitute?

Sorry to hear this. Perhaps it needed more liquid added/ or more stirring. You may find <a href="https://www.gobble.com/blog/how-to-fix-broken-sauce/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow ugc">this</a> article helpful.

So disappointed. I followed this recipe to the letter but my sauce came out a strange texture and as soon as I tossed it with the pasta the liquid like separated and went to the bottom of the bowl. My family wouldn’t even try it. Sad waste of time/money

I would suggest using canned coconut milk or extra creamy unsweetened oat milk.

Looks fantastic. Is there a non dairy substitute for the milk?
