what could I substitute for the brownie sugar. My granddaughter can't have that She can't digest it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated think she would love them

For the vanilla extract can I use 1 tsp or 1/2 tsp because I don’t know how much 1.5 tsp is. for me it makes no sense

Each type of cocoa bakes up differently because Dutch cocoa is alkalized and regular cocoa powder isn't, therefor they have different levels of acidity. Sorry that happened! If you do try again I recommend looking online and you can find Dutch cocoa there.

Don't know what happen followed directions and cookies spread out so bad there is no saving them. So sad ??. Froze the second batch and still didn't turn out.

I just finished making my 1st batch & oh God, these are so good! A quick & easy recipe. I used AP flour because that's what I had. Don't think it affected the end result. The cookies look exactly like your pics & they're delicious. A nice change from the Toll house we usually make. Thank you.
