This looks delicious! Any recommendations for a non-alcoholic substitute for the dry wine? Thank you :)

In reply to <a href="https://www.cookingclassy.com/chicken-cacciatore/comment-page-1/#comment-689526">Pauline Clarke</a>. Chicken broth / stock is simmered water, chicken bones/ and sometimes chicken skin/ meat. It is just a pure liquid that has chicken flavor. You can make it homemade <a href="https://www.cookingclassy.com/how-to-make-chicken-stock/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">here is a recipe</a>.

My husband was still raving about the dish the next morning. i have a different recipe that I’ve used for chicken cacciatore for a long time and it’s good, really good. I enjoy trying new recipes and this one sounded tasty. I was not disappointed, this recipe is great and will now be my go to chicken cacciatore recipe. The sauce is so savory, but light compared to the dense sauce of my other recipe. I think the wine made the sauce airy and light. Followed recipe to the letter!
