Yes that would be just fine, I just wouldn't use extra virgin olive oil either regular or light.

Hi! Looks amazing and plan to make it this week.. quick question, if I omit the canola and just use olive oil, would this change the taste drastically?

Love the orange poppy seed dressing. I made the salad with a few additions. - very tasty!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salad!! The combination of citrus flavours, salty cheese and crunchy toasted almonds is phenomenal. The only things I changed were the cheese and poppy-seeds as I didn't have them on hand. Instead I used goats cheese and black sesame seeds and it was perfection.
This salad is perfect for summer and boy am I lucky to live in a place where the weather is summer all-year-round! I am going to make this salad on a regular basis. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely delish! Didn’t change a thing. Will be having this again!

I’ve made this several times and it’s a keeper. Fantastic!

Very much enjoyed. The dressing is great. I did alter the salad slightly based on what I had on hand - omitted the feta and added pumpkin seeds (toasted) as well.

I would double the dressing unless you don’t like very much dressing. Hope you love it!

Hello-I was going to make this for Father's Day tomorrow and double all of the salad ingredients. Do you think I need to double the dressing ingredients too, or is your recipe above possibly enough? Thank you!!!

This is very good. I made it for my neighbor ladies, and everyone liked it. I had to omit the avocados because they weren’t ripe enough, but otherwise I made it according to the recipe.
