You say to use 1 c beans, then grind. If using preground beans, how much should I use? 1 c whole beans = how much ground beans?

What you could do is pour in 3/4 c of the concentrate then dilute to taste with water. Some people even prefer a highly diluted mixture, iced coffee can really vary in concentration (adding more than the 2 cups water) but I prefer the more concentrated versions. So just test it out a bit and find the ratios you like. It will also vary a bit by coffee strength, brand and so forth.

This looks so delicious.. and easy. The amount of steeped mixture you end up with will vary depending on how it was diluted (ie. 1/2 to 2 cups water added.) You suggest mixing "1/4 of the mixture" with a tablespoon of sugar and 1/4 cup of half&half, but how much exactly is "1/4 of the mixture"?
