I made this exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. Be careful! Once you make it, everyone will ask you to do it again. It's a great recipe. Thank you!

My favorite pasta salad! I sub mini pepperonis for salami and leave out the olives. It’s delicious and everyone always requests it!

Just regular water.

What can I use if I forget to save the pasta water?

I made this for a group of 20 plus people so obviously I doubled it. Normally when I double a recipe, it loses something.
This was a total hit from the 1 year old to the adults.
Well with the effort!

This has become my go-to pasta salad recipe, and I've enjoyed adjusting the ingredients to match what I have in my fridge, such as using leftover ham or using whatever I have from my grocery store olive bar. My latest addition was some marinated feta cheese. My husband especially likes it because it makes a good cold lunch for work.

Sugar or real maple syrup will work as well.

What can I substitute in place of the honey? I would like to be able to share this with my daughter who has to avoid honey until age one. Thank you.

I would add the dressing and see if you think it needs it, store bought dressings usually have some water in them already so you may not need to add much.

If using store bought dressing, would you still add reserved pasta water?
