Being Italian I was hesitant about this recipe, but it was fairly quick. I'm glad I tried it last night and my husband loved it! I used my own sauce and had all the ingredients in the house. It is a great weeknight meal that is easy and quick.

Just as good as the old fashioned lasagna that takes forever to make.

This was so good, thank you! Added a package of crumbled Italian sausage to the ground beef and increased the noodles also. Delicious!

Yes I believe it would need a bit more cook time and toss a few times for even cooking.

Will doubling the recipe change the cooking time?

Yes it won't melt the same but if you prefer it over ricotta it will work as well. Just drain it first.

Can you use cottage cheese instead of ricotta?
