I’ll probably try another recipe.

This was a simple and great recipe. Thank you. The only issue I had (self-inflicted because I usually weigh for baking and didn’t have a scale at the house I’m at now) was the dough was too dry after adding flour. One tablespoon of half-and-half and it was good to go! Thanks again!

Cookies tasted great but spread like crazy. I was able to push them in a bit in the middle of baking a few times so they weren’t a total failure but definitely didn’t look as pretty as the ones you posted. Followed the recipe to a T, probably would try a different shortbread recipe next time

I'm sorry to hear this Becky! It sounds like they maybe just needed a little more flour, longer chill time, or sometimes it can be that the oven wasn't quite hot enough or butter had a higher percentage of water than is ideal for baking.

Mine did NOT turn out like yours. I'm not sure what I did wrong. They spread terribly. I tried scooting the spread portion in but they still looked terrible. I'd like to send a picture and see if you have any ideas of what may have gone wrong.

At room temperature they may. I’d recommend just keeping stored in the fridge.

I would like give it as Christmas gifts by dipping chocolate & refrigerate it. However, I am living in Singapore, with humid climate would it melt?

Incredibly delicious with or without the chocolate dipping! I dipped mine. Will return to this recipe, adding it to family favorites. Thank you!!

They should keep about 3 weeks at room temperature.
