Loved it! The recipe is a keeper for me. I used chicken broth instead of the wine and fresh oregano and chives from the garden instead of the parsley .I also sprinkled a little parmigiana cheese. We loved it! Thanks!

I usually double or even triple the sauce since you already have all the ingredients. It’s fantastic and so simple! We’ve had it for three birthdays this year, and making it for another one tomorrow. A++

In reply to <a href="https://www.cookingclassy.com/shrimp-scampi/comment-page-13/#comment-737672">Kimber Van Halen</a>. Yes, use raw shrimp I've just updated that for clarity. Enjoy!

The video clearly used raw shrimp, and your recipe doesn’t specify raw or cooked. Please clarify.

Great recipe. Too bad the website has so many pop up ads. Makes it impossible to read the article as the text keeps scrolling to put more ads in. I had to copy it to paper to make the recipe

Very simple to make. I added green onions and then ended up adding a bit more white wine and butter to make sure there was enough sauce for the shrimp. It less special than restaurant scampi but when you make something yourself it takes a bit of the thrill out.

I don’t typically give away my secrets, To be fair! The recipe was excellent as written the only thing I changed was the addition of 1/4 cup of chicken broth and I removed the shrimp from the sauce just before serving, thickened the sauce with a teaspoon of cornstarch and then added back the shrimp and added the parsley. Yum!

So, frozen shrimp comes in 2 lb bags and linguini and most pastas in i lb boxes. It is annoying that the recipes is for 1-12 lb shrimp and 12 ou pasta. It would be so much simpler to have the recipes use standard package sizes.

I've made this at least 3 times! It's delicious! I doubled everything except the pasta so it can be extra saucy because I'm always the one to ask for extra sauce at restaurants. Thanks for sharing!
