This is so funny, because I bought a small (3qt) InstaPot in 2019 and used it to make ‘hard boiled’ eggs all the time. I never knew of this method and can’t wait to try it! Certainly less expensive that the InstaPot, but then, the eggs are done in 4-6 minutes, so there’s that! You have to put the InstaPot hard boiled eggs in an ice bath as well. Great tip, thanks!

This worked perfectly with fresh eggs from the local farmers market.

At the age of 50, I’ve been shredding and massacring hard boiled eggs for 35 years. No more after this gem, the shells practically fell off. Thank you, thank you ?

Absolutely the best peeling eggs I’ve ever made. I’ll never boil another egg.

Thanks for this recipe. I hard cooked 7 eggs for 15 minutes, they are perfect. I let them sit in ice water for 15 minutes (actually cold water with a few small freezer packs in it) and they were a dream to peel.
