Very good but I would add more 1Tbsp soy sauce and 1/2Tbsp less of honey. I think red pepper flakes could be added to give it more zip. I will definitely make this again!!

Is there any non-alcoholic substitute for mirin? This recipe sounds delicious but I do not consume alcohol. Thank you.

Why do you leave the tails on the shrimp? Do you actually eat them? Who wants to continually stop to do that?

Made this for my family last night and everyone loved it! The sauce is amazing and the recipe is quick and easy. We will definitely be adding this to our weeknight rotation.

In reply to <a href="https://www.cookingclassy.com/teriyaki-shrimp/comment-page-1/#comment-716571">carly</a>. I have a salmon teriyaki recipe <a href="https://www.cookingclassy.com/teriyaki-salmon/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">here</a>. This sauce should work as well but you'd want to add closer to the end.
