Orange Creamsicle Truffles are an orange lover’s dream come true! These decadent treats have a bright orange goodness paired with a creamy, rich white chocolate flavor to compliment them.
Truffles are such an elegant and impressive dessert. They are great for the dessert table at parties or delivering in cute containers for holidays. I love that truffles are tiny and provide that visual variety from cookies, bars, cakes, pies, or cupcakes. Chocolate or mint truffles are the most common flavors… but who says we can’t go light and fruity?
Orange Creamsicle Truffles
I’m a huge fan of Orange Creamsicles and orange-flavored treats in general. During the spring and summer months I just can’t get enough of fruity, sweet, ice cream-inspired flavors. Why not try the decadent truffle in fruit flavors? I’m so glad I tried it because it completely changed the way I think about truffles.
These truffles have the vibrant flavor of orange from zest and extract, with the richness of white chocolate and the sweet, dusty finish of powdered sugar to bring it all together. They’re the first thing everyone reaches for, and everyone ends up licking their fingers and asking for more!
Orange Desserts
Another reason I love these Orange Creamsicle Truffles is that they’re so unique. Everyone who tries them is surprised at the fresh and unexpected flavor of orange in a truffle format. You can adjust your orange flavoring to be stronger or lighter depending on your taste, but it’s a nice break from rich chocolate flavors.
They’re super easy to make and people of all ages will love them! They’re great for gifts or parties, or just a weekend treat.
